The Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport offers easy travel from most of the major cities in the US. Locally, the Mississippi Gulf Coast is served by the Coast Transit Authority (CTA), with a number of routes passing through the city of Gulfport, and others connecting to the neighboring cities of Biloxi, Long Island, and Ocean Springs.

The fleet of buses traversing Route 34 runs from Gulfport Transit Center, through various stops on the Pass Road in Gulfport and Biloxi and terminates at the Biloxi Transit Center.

Buses offer an opportunity to affordably sample these stops while keeping travelers fairly close to the beach. In addition, there are two Route 38 bus lines, both connecting Gulfport to destinations in neighboring Long Beach.
